  11. No, it could definitely not be done as a FreeWare project of any kind.
  12. Griff did get permission from the author to do the port, though, AFAICR.
  13. All ShareWare fees would probabably have to go to the orginal developer,
  14. but personally I wouldn't mind much.

  27. It's possible that there will be severe restrictions, yes. If the program
  28. is clean enough it could, however, well be possible to write all the
  29. necessary interface code without ever seeing the rest of the sources.

  41. I had the misfortune to spend several hour with Photoshop 2.5 a couple of
  42. days ago, and it nearly drove me mad.
  43. The GIMP v0.60 (or MGIF v5.10 for that matter) is _so_ much nicer.
